Anna narrated her ordeal at the Harare civil court where she was seeking a protection order against her son. "I think it's best if my son moves out of my house and stay somewhere else because I am afraid of being raped by him. He comes home drunk around midnight and when he comes he strips his clothes and shows me his private parts. He has done this more than FOUR times and recently he entered my bedroom and started URINATING on my bed while standing," said Anna. She added: "I am a widow, my husband died last y ear in August so I have no one to protect me from what he is doing to me. Whenever I try to stop him from that, he starts insulting me."
Responding to the claims, Charles told the court that he had no intentions of raping his mother because he is a married man. "I have a wife so I don't know why she is afraid that I might rape her. I am facing challenges with my mother because she does not consult me on certain issues that she is supposed to," he said.
